historic house efficient system excellent breakfast
the building has a lovely sense of history. the check-in system worked efficiently. the staff were good when i met them. breakfast was excellent, and it was cooked to order.
finding the parking space was a slight hiccup.

The breakfast offered a great experience EACH day. I appreciated the elegantly furnished house with communal rooms for relaxation. Proximity to the Pallant House Gallery allowed easy exploration in the morning.
Finding the car park proved very difficult. It involved a complicated route. The parking area felt a little cramped. I noticed our parking place was under a tree. Bird droppings covered the car in the morning.

elegant building comfortable bed
i found the building handsome and elegant. the king-size bed in my bedroom was comfortable. the breakfast was fully inclusive and set around a communal table. i parked at the rear, and the key code entry worked efficiently.
i noticed getting to the carpark was difficult because it is accessed through a public carpark. the parking area was cramped too. i understand this issue is outside of their direct control.

the hotel stands very close to the pallant art gallery. the location is central. it is also quiet during the night. i could easily walk to most of the town from this location.

my room featured period spacious room. it had generous provisions including nice teas and coffee. sustainable bathroom products and water were included. i found the building furnished in a sympathetic style, also it remained warm and clean.

The location allowed easy walks to all attractions. the quiet atmosphere was wonderful. I appreciated sharing a breakfast table with other guests. It was nice to hear where others had come from.

confusing directions cramped area
the breakfast was well cooked.
finding the car park was a real hassle (i nearly gave up!). the directions were confusing, and it took ages to figure out the one-way system. plus, the parking area felt cramped, and i worried about damaging my car. inside, there were too many signs telling me what i couldn't do.
